MSFC has taken the first step in the RHE process for you. By using relationships we have strengthened over the years, we located host facilities excited and able to provide quality abortion training to medical students and residents. MSFC maintains a Host Facility Directory compatible with the needs of medical students and residents seeking training in abortion techniques and patient care. If you are interested in obtaining contact information for a host facility, please contact the RHE Manager by phone at (215) 625-0800 or via email with your city(s) of interest.

Facilities listed in the Host Facility Directory:
When contacting a provider/facility from the directory, explain who you are (your name, school or residency program, year, etc.), why you’re calling, and ask to speak with the contact person listed in our directory or the most appropriate person. If the contact person for a facility has changed, please inform the RHE Manager via email.

Facilities not listed in the Host Facility Directory:
Some students know of a clinic where they would like to work that isn’t currently listed in our Host Facility Directory. If that’s the case with you, please keep in mind to qualify for funding your facility must guarantee exposure to at least 50 abortion procedures during your externship. If your facility contact is not familiar with Medical Students for Choice or the Reproductive Health Externship Funding Program, give him/her the name and contact information to the RHE Manager via email.

*If you arrange an externship with Planned Parenthood, Planned Parenthood is now requiring that MSFC obtain a background check. If you prefer not to be subject to a background check, please contact the RHE Manager for information about other potential training sites.
